Network Marketing Tips Revealed: How To Get Prospects Chasing You To Join Your Business

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Most network marketers spend countless hours and money pursuing a business that takes more than it gives back, and after enough frustration they eventually quit. Rather than continue doing what doesn’t work, try doing something that does work like attraction marketing.

Instead of wasting your time and money pursuing dead end leads that have little or no interest in your business. Try applying attraction-marketing techniques to attract highly qualified prospects to your business.

Now, doesn’t that seem better than chasing prospects? Don’t you think that would be a much better way of building your network? The days of using worn out old school methods like chasing your friend’s and family to join your business are gone forever.

You can quickly build a network of people that want to succeed as much as you do by using attraction-marketing principals. With attraction marketing there is no pressure for the prospect to join or buy anything.

All you need to do is provide them with valuable, relevant information. This is what helps establish the relationship and separates you as a leader. It’s no longer necessary to aggressively pitch your prospects.

With a simple revision in your marketing, you will notice a significant difference in your network. Due to the power of attraction marketing 8 out of 10 prospects you talk to will successfully join. Before attraction marketing you were lucky if 2 out of every 10 joined.

The success rate is much better. The reason for this change is because with attraction marketing you no longer waste time chasing prospects, instead prospects will be chasing you to join your business because it’s their idea.

With prospects chasing you. Network marketing just got a whole lot easier.

Now that you have established a system that allows your prospects a way to get to know and trust you, make it easy for them to contact you when they are comfortable. Once you do this you will never have to spend countless hours wasting your time with people that have no interest in joining your network. With attraction marketing you will posses all the tools necessary to help move well-informed prospects forward to joining your network.

Some network marketers are skeptical about the Internet and still believe in “old school” eyeball-to-eyeball marketing. However, because of technology and the power of the Internet it has become the dominant force for network marketing, whether the old school marketers like it or not.

The Internet allows users unlimited access to research any company they desire anywhere on earth. Network marketers also have the ability to connect with prospects anywhere on the planet.

To become a successful network marketer you will need to educate yourself on how to apply a few of these network marketing tips to build your network.

First, the Internet is a good source for learning about what marketing tools you will need to get started. Once you have learned how to use these tools, they can help you to successfully promote your business. It’s imperative that you study each one of the marketing strategies carefully so that you don’t end up wasting your time, because many of them work… but just as many do not.

Second, you will need to set up a blog site, including everything interesting and relevant about your business so that you can begin to build your network. All you are doing at this point is planting a seed for your prospects to think about. It usually requires many visits to your website before they make a decision to join your business.

Third, you will need to advertise on a massive scale. You will want to promote your website using article marketing. The more visible your website is the more credibility you will have as a network marketing leader. The more links you have circulating on the Internet, the more prospects you will attract to your website. Remember, massive action equals massive results, so get your name out there.

By applying the power of attraction marketing you will begin to build your own network. Remember attraction marketing is all about valuable information, the more helpful and valuable the information the greater your chances are that prospects will join your company. All it takes is patience and determination on your part.

For anyone who struggles with lead generation or the home-based business industry in general, using attraction-marketing methods is the perfect solution, and for me it’s been a blessing in disguise.

Why You Should Provide Good Customer Service in Network Marketing

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

Customer service does apply to the internet age and internet network marketing. This concept is often lost in the sea of Internet advertising, driving traffic, social bookmarking, etc. It is a rather Old School concept, but invaluable to any business effort. Providing good customer service in internet network marketing will get you great results.

Let us say you are getting tons of leads each day, but are having a problem converting them to actual customers or downline for your internet network marketing opportunity. Something as simple as a little personal e-mail to them can often make the difference in converting at a higher rate. Simply say hello, offer to answer some of their questions, let them in on a traffic generation secret of yours. The key is to let them know there is an actual person who is interested in them behind the computer screen.

Better yet, you need to give people what they really want and desire that are on your opt-in list. Do they really want to be immediately sold on your network marketing opportunity? No, not initially. What they really want is how to be successful themselves and the tools to do that.

If you have an auto-responder series focused on internet network marketing, be good to your list. Give them some tips and tools that have worked for you.

For example, when many people start out, they have problems generating traffic to their internet network marketing page. What if you included on your auto-responder series the top 5 ways that you have successfully generated traffic? Do you think that people would be interested in that and will you have provided good customer service to them?

Good customer service in internet network marketing is about being there for people when they have questions or need some clarification. Why not include an e-mail address and or phone number where people can call or write back to you with questions? When people e-mail you or call, answer your questions to the best of your ability. I am not saying to spend an hour or two on the phone with someone who is not a customer yet. However, giving someone 5 or 10 minutes of your time is providing good customer service and people are more likely to become a member of what you have to offer or buy from you in the future.

Give and you will receive ten-fold. Over commit on your part and you will see people flock to you because of good customer service for your internet network marketing opportunity.

Marketing Your Network Marketing Business

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

As a professional marketer (and a network marketer), I find the old school prospecting and recruitment methods for network marketing highly unprofessional, and it seems that they leave most people cold. The excitement at the opportunity of growing your very own business fades as you realise that you have to pick up the phone to cold call, or worse, to phone your friends and family to tell them about this amazing opportunity (where you have to hassle all of your friends).

Network marketing is a great business model with some fantastic products, and some truly great people in it (which includes you!). If you haven’t managed to grow your business how you would like; if you’re wondering how on earth you’re ever going to recruit more than 1 person every other month, then let me tell you, you’re not alone. And it’s not your fault.

The thing is, this is a professional business, with a sound method of distribution. So why not use sound and professional methods to grow your business – that is – with proper marketing?

Marketing your network marketing business will give a whole new meaning to your business. Marketing, done properly, means that you can find the customers that already want to buy your product or use your service. And marketing means that you can attract the right kind of business prospects to you, without you having to chase them down. No more having to go to business opportunity meetings on Wednesday night because you were told that it will grow your business (how exactly?). No more spending a fortune on training every weekend, on every book they tell you to buy, and missing your family in the process.

I’m not saying don’t read or go to trainings by the way, just that these alone won’t build your business for you. Marketing will.

So what is marketing exactly?

Let’s look at the official definition (bear with me on this!), and that is:

“The management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably.”
(courtesy of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK)

Let’s pull it apart and see how it applies to you in your network marketing business.

“The management process” – marketing is one part, and an ongoing part, of running your business. It will, and should, affect everything that you do, from how you dress to how you answer the phone, to how you communicate with your customers and prospects. And everything in between – and so much more.

“Identifying [customer requirements]” – do you know what your customers and prospects are looking for? Do you know what they want? If not you need to find out. If you *think* you do, you definitely need to find out (from them!).

“Anticipating [customer requirements]” – how well do you know your customers and prospects? Do you know what they are likely to want in the future? What are the outside forces at work that are going to affect your customers’ and prospects’ decision making? What new trends can you see happening in your industry? What are the industry pundits saying.? Can you draw anything from that?

“Satisfying customer requirements” – are you giving your customers and prospects what *they* want? This is a point that is strangely often overlooked.
Business owners (yep, that includes you) get too hung up on telling people what THEY think is good. Nope. Concentrate on what your customers and prospects want and tell them that instead.

“Profitably” – yes, you are allowed to make some money. It’s OK, honest! You’re in business. Even charities carry out marketing to make money (otherwise how do they support their particular concerns?). If you’re uncomfortable about making a profit, I’d recommend you get out of your business now and go get a job. If you want to make money to pay the mortgage, put food on the table, put clothes on your back…or to enjoy a millionaire lifestyle, then you need to be making a profit.

Understanding what marketing is and how it can affect your business will put you head and shoulders above the majority of people in this industry. It will give you a professional edge, you will lose your desperation at wanting somebody (anybody) to talk to about your network marketing opportunity, the phone will return to its normal weight, and you will be able to relax. No other type of business prospects like network marketing does. There’s probably a reason for that.

So study marketing. Learn how to do it. And apply marketing to your network marketing business. You might just be surprised at your results!
